To gain the most from the energy consumption information you may already have requires a thorough understanding of the data sources, their accuracy, relevance and content. Unlocking the secrets held by this data and realising any potential savings is at the heart of our Consumption Review and Analysis service.
The sheer volume of available data can be difficult to manage or even understand. Data can range from supplier invoices to AMR readings. Some organisations may even have sophisticated monitoring and targeting software. However, understanding the stories held by this data and identifying areas of waste and possible efficiency improvements requires an independent review. It is also useful to review the data collection processes themselves as with the advent of the CRC these processes may need updating.
As part of our analysis we
- Review all the available energy data and data collection systems.
- Present a summary report that highlights our findings and the next steps.
- Highlight any inefficiencies and begins the process of establishing benchmarks and targets.
Although not included as part of the standard review we can, where appropriate, survey any prioritised sites to determine the most effective efficiency measures and build a business case for each measure.
