Data Services
Once the AMR unit has been installed we will start collecting data. This is made available through our secure website, which is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Alternative methods of obtaining the data are available, to meet special requirements.
Multiple account options allowing different parties within client organisations to view the data are available. This enables the viewing of data for the meters that are relevant to specified individuals.
Note that a key feature of the Pulse 24 product is the conversion of all data to energy (kWh) using daily calorific values.
Data Collection
There are two options for the provision of data:
The service provides the most comprehensive amount of data for use in both billing and a wide range of energy efficiency uses and has the following features:
The website is being constantly updated to provide additional functionality, which may be of use to customers, for example the Carbon Calculator – an application that allows customers to calculate the carbon value of their energy use.
Data Management
Pulse 24 also actively manages and can provide the collected data to clients and any third parties duly authorised to receive such data. This can be supplied via email, file transfer or FTP protocols. Such data can include:
Support Services and Accreditations
Pulse 24 is the leading AMR service provider in the gas industry and once the AMR service is in place we monitor and maintain it to ensure that our clients continue to receive the data they require. Data flows are monitored and subjected to validation checks on a daily basis. We consistently visit customers and arrange site visits to investigate any issues that may occur, including replacement of any AMR devices that fail.
Most importantly for customers, Pulse 24 is owned by Energy Assets Ltd, an Ofgem registered Meter Asset Manager (MAM) operating under the strict industry MAM Code of Practice provisions (MAMCoP). The amalgamation of Pulse 24 and Energy Assets enable a wide range of associated and complimentary services to be provided including meter replacements and full Meter Asset Management of replaced metering in accordance with MAMCoP. Further details of these additional services are given in following sections.
